Ballymaloe in great location- very scenic and quiet. Not difficult to locate. I had a single room which had queen sized bed, big room with 2 aspects. Bathroom a bit narrow but worked fine. Only issue about room for those who care- no TVs. Also...More

Taking a class at Ballymaloe was a bucket list item, and glad we ticked that one off! We took an afternoon 2 1/2 hour class from Rachael, who is Darina's daughter in law. I've taken tons of cooking classes and this one made my head...More

We unfortunately did not have much time in Ballymaloe as it was a stop on the way back to Dublin after a crazy hospitable wine tasting event for Lawson's Dry Hills wines from New Zealand in Ballycotton. The school is set in truely superb grounds,...More

Wanted to experience the Ballymaloe Food Ethic and experience with a view someday to take a demonstration or dine in the House itself, but if this is a 'taster' of the service and food quality then neither option will be availed upon. We ordered a...More

The highlight of our trip to east Cork. What a wonderful garden! And a nice outdoor cafe. And a genuine welcome.

Ballymaloe is a beautiful venue and the butcher conducting the course is a nice chap. But the 1 day demonstration itself was very boring and did not warrant its price tag. A total RIP OFF and not worth €200 for a day course (to watch...More
