All that is Irish in one cute cottage: farm life, famine, monuments, hard labor, and hot tea by the fire on a rainy day. Just loved it!

Our tour group stopped by here one rainy day. A traditional thatched hut with a cart of peat was an attractive welcome. The place is family-owned and throughout the tour you can feel their pride in keeping to the traditional ways. While touring the site,...More

This traditional cottage and modern still is a fun outing. We were there for an evening "homecoming" show. Lovely harp music, storytelling and dancing, a nice traditional dinner and a bit of history. Yes, they have you hang out in the shop before the modern...More

Stopped for a look en route. Interesting shop and good service. Had tours and walks heavily marketed but did not do these.

We stayed there and walked around. In general it is free to walk along the lanes in the garden. Nearby down The Valley is also Stone fort and stone ring etc. This is a couple of Euro. For us 10 Euro for the whole family.

I already answered the question..see above. BUT I can also say that the scenic shots all around the place is also worthy of a stop even if the shop is not open.
