I have been visiting every second day for the past week. Love the place. Great views, lakes and walks. You can drive to various car parks further up the trails. If you have a few hours to spare and good gear, park at the entrance...More

We love visiting Glentenassig whenever we are down in Kerry. It is such a fabulous beauty spot- with a wonderful boardwalk all around the upper lake. It also has picnic tables so bring your packed lunch with you. The drive up there from Castlegregory is...More

Bit of a drive to get up to it but well worth it. Beautiful walk around one of the lakes. Before going we were told it had a boardwalk around it. It was brilliant! Basically planks held together. It was safe and adventurous for the...More

Stunning scenery, very remote, quiet location - even during the busy tourist season. Well worth the short drive from Tralee or Castlegregory. Many trees have been removed from certain portions of the park as it appears that swaths were sick or dying. The remaining forest...More

Worth the drive up to it! Easy walk along the board walk around the lake with great scenery. The walk is suitable for all ages but no buggies or bikes. Some trees have been felled recently, such is the forestry business, which does detract the...More

Great walk through the forest at the first lake (Buggy friendly!), the wooden walkway was less accessible with small children. Great setting for a picnic and Gruffalo hunting! Worth a trip!

Beautiful landscapes, great views! Hard to get there but it's worth it. Don't forget to wear comfortable shoes and enjoy exploring lakes, forest and even having picnic with presence of nature.
