Be careful not to take the road that might show on google maps, and other maps, only the road with the directional sign at the highway. The maps show two roads you can take, but one will be bad, after a hurricane a few years...More

Set right into the mountain range this is a most serene and beautiful place to visit. There's a great board walk all round the lake and time should be taken to slowly walk round and enjoy the view and experience. Plenty of other walking options...More

When you think Kerry can't get any better go to Glenteenassig Park. The boardwalk around the upper lakes makes it so accessible. There are several car parks at different points up the park suiting the less energetic to the seasoned walkers.

Off the main road and how gorgeous is it. This place is well worth a trip down the road. Food paths to walk on - not large but good enough. Scenery is gorgeous.

You need to take the ride to the upper park to have a walk around the upper lake. Otherwise it's 40 ins walk to the upper lake.
