A beautiful part of history. The good old cottage has resisted the accumulated years.Very well preserved, to the credit of the local government with help from dedicated people.

For those who like to step back a couple of hundred years and also a sanctuary from the city. House, from memory, open Wednesday (check web for hours) and only a couple of dollars entry. Garden (small) open all the time BUT currently all closed...More

An interesting old building and good to see that it has been retained. It needs more in the exhibition because without furniture etc there is not much to see and the information is a little sparse. I did find out more in the local library...More

This cottage is more than a mueseum to me , you see its the place where my mother was born and grandparents lived. Its the place where my parents held their wedding reception and where we spent many years celebrating family traditions of Christmas Lunches...More
