We have been here many times. There is always something else to see and admire. The guides are full of information and the whole process from start to finish is pleasant and interesting. A great afternoon out if you live history.

I went for a walk with my family around the grounds while visiting for the plant fair. It is a beautiful home and grounds. A nice relacing trip out.

Considering we only live just over 35 minutes from the place we cannot believe we haven't visited it before......it's so beautiful. There is a small entrance fee cost ((£5 pp) A very interesting well kept occupied house with about 8 rooms open to the public...More

Our guide was Margaret and she was very knowledgeable about the house. It was a lovely house to walk round, the fresh cream scones were too die for and the gardens very pretty. My 13 year old enjoyed the tour of the house as well!

Hello, the house is only open Tuesday & Thursday between June and September. However, large group bookings can be made outside this time with enough notice. Kind regards Tom
