March - Mid April we have 800 ewes lambing and 80 Cows calving so come and see a real working farm and take the tractor ride to the top of the downs to see the ewes and lambs out in the fields. Through the summer we have trips around the farm lasting over 1 hour to see the animals, crops and conservation areas.

Bring my grand kids here every year and love it This year has got to be the best yet, love the piglets , way too cute The whole experience is a fab few hours My grandkids loved sitting amongst the new lambs, having them sit on their laps, and generally frolicking around, and the tractor ride out in field watching... Our money was taken and only then were we told that it was a slow day and unlikely that we would see any 'late night lambing'. We were assured however, that two calves had been born the previous evening. We then wandered around barns looking at some lively lambs and sleeping mums and mums to be. We were then allowed... I am sorry that no lambs were born when you were here, We have no way of knowing what nature will do. Over 1,200 lambs are born over 6 weeks and we still have approx 100 ewes to lamb in the last 4 days, so the odds were some should have been born. We cannot guarantee you will see a... More

My cynical and reluctant pre-teen boys couldn't help but be moved by the sight of a new born calf attempting to stand on wobbly legs. Plus they said the lambs were very soft! We stayed a couple of hours and loved the bumpy tractor ride. The ice cream van didn't go amiss and the farmer was v understanding when we... More

Both adults and kids enjoyed ourselves. Being a working farm, there is a level of authenticity that is different from typical farm attractions, but at much lower prices. Our younger ones especially enjoyed interacting with the recently born lambs. Adults were wide eyed and fascinated with the ewes in the thick of labour, with the fortunate ones being able to... Visited there not for the first time to see the lambing. Coombes is a working farm where they invite people to see the lambing. There is also cows in calf plus chickens and pigs. As part of the admission fee you can have a trip in a tractor pulled trailer around the farm. There is also a quaint church which... More

I wanted to see lambs up close and found Coombes Farm through an internet search. Decided as the weather was decent to walk from East Worthing seafront to the farm on Good Friday, approx. 4 mile walk, half of it across the fields which was a stunning view in all directions. Arrived around 1pm and while there was a decent... More

I took my 2 and half yr old last Saturday. It was reasonable priced. My daughter loved the tractor ride and the view of Sussex is stunning but do take a coat because it can get chilly up there if there is wind. Got to see a lamb being born and to stroke some that were a few days old... More

This must be one of the best ways to spend you hard earned money, so much enjoyment, fills, and many things to see and do. I arrived at 10.00am this morning and looking at my clock now its 20.32pm and Im still smiling and raving about it now! The lambing is second to non and you must have a go... More
