Live locally but had never visited before - small visitor centre buts lots packed in - lovely café and lovely food - friendly helpful staff - lots of photographs and books to browse - definitely worth a call in.

Visited it recently on a Sunday. It was very busy and unable to get a seat. I would suggest this is the normal, and would think it will not improve as the weather improves and the band concerts on Sundays commence
After a lovely stroll along the towpath we decided to stop for a break. We got a great welcome despite arriving after 4 and were served the best tray brakes with tea and coffee I have had in a long time....fresh and full of flavour.
