Excellent town for exploring the countryside with lovely walks available from Corsham Court with its lake to neighbouring villages like Biddestone and Lacock, surely a couple of England's best ? Good range of places to eat. Nearby Bradford on Avon also beautiful and very interesting (Train into Bath and beyond ?). Obviously great base from which to explore Bath, Malmesbury (Abbey),Cirencester... More

great visit even though was just about to close ( 4.30pm) , peacocks wandering the high street without fear! Lovely display at the Town hall about the war years as a hospital. Independent shops with a Coop supermarket close to hand also.

The town has a wonderful charm and I certainly didn't expect to encounter peacocks on my evening walk along the High Street. If you like to witness well preserved Georgian buildings, then this is the place for you. Also handy for visiting nearby Devizes, Lacock and Bradford on Avon. The Caen Hill locks on the nearby Kennet and Avon canal... More

Never seen Poldark on television, but apparently one episode was shot in Corsham. Postcard village with a high street. You can visit Corsham Court, but only in the afternoon and on weekends between October and April.

Stayed overnight for a course and waked into the village for a bit of fresh air. Really quaint houses and a variety of lovely little shops including a local butchers and bike shop. Would love to go back for a long weekend and explore.

What a lovely town with so much character and great shops too; there was a little craft fair when we went and ended up buying a painting by a local artist.

What a beautiful village - many interesting buildings- Corsham Court is a must see and we enjoyed a visit to the old school house and alms houses. There is also a fascinating church and a tourist information bureau should you need any further ideas. Well worth a visit.

Stayed here for a few days and found it very relaxing , places to walk and visit and restaurants . For such a small place it has a lot to offer and close proximity to Bath and Lacock were a bonus
