Really beautiful gardens, flowers wrecked by the heavy rain.

This is possibly the worst most pathetic exhibition I have ever seen. The website doesn't tell you that the house is closed on Wednesday & Thursday it just mentions this exhibition entitled a Magnificent Inheritance which sounded quite promising. So, we got there to find...More

I’m sure the NT would say it costs a lot to maintain Stourhead blah blah blah but £16.60 (£18.30 gift aid) per adult (wot? No concessions for pensioners?) and £4 parking (day rate only) is a bit steep. We only went to see a Christmas...More

My favourite garden. Please go and visit Stourhead at anytime of year, then return a few months later to see a difference. The garden through the seasons is wonderful. The walking route is easy and there are loads of options; walk as far as King...More

An expensive 300 mile roundtrip including staying over at a B&B to see the Autumn colours at Stourhead - but worth it. This was our second visit to the estate, the last being in summer 2017. We had been inspired to visit by the BBC...More

Price is a very steep at over £16 a head! But i suppose these stunning scenes need maintenance! On a nice day, there aren't many better places for a walk with some history and views like this!

Even though we visited on a rather dank autumn day the gardens were gorgeous, autumn serenity and beauty at its best. Cafe, shop and Spread Eagle pub all excellent too.

I would recommend a whole day to enjoy both the house and gardens. There is a large area to cover when walking around the grounds so being able to walk longer distances is essential. The gardens are glorious. We visited in early Autumn so we...More

We walked around the lake at Stourhead on a beautiful Autumn day and it was magical, the Autumn colours were at their best and even though it was half term and there were too many unsupervised children shouting and screaming everywhere, it did not spoil...More

Firstly don't go when schools are out unless you're family types. The grounds are wonderful for walks but not when seemingly everyone descends into the place. Parking when it's busy is a nightmare, but a doddle when it's not a holiday. Now a new thing:...More

No, you just have to find the ticketing machine, scan your NT membership card and it prints a free ticket that you then display on your dashboard.
