The Lady Lever Art Gallery is a real treasure, housing a stunning collection of paintings as well as exquisite furniture, Chinese collections, tapestries, sculpture, Wedgwood and classical antiquities in a beautiful building.There are several rooms, centred around the main hall. The paintings on display include pieces by Reynolds, Gainsborough, Stubbs, Turner, Millais, Rossetti, Holman Hunt and Waterhouse, to name but a few. The gallery also includes a dining room and shop. Admission is free.

In the middle of port sunlight is the Lady Lever art gallery. An incredible and eclectic collection of art. Pictures, artefacts, statues and a lot more. A great place to visit. Laid out beautiful ly. Highly recommended. A real gem.

don't miss this amazing place, more stuff than you will even imagine. the collections scans centuries and many cultures. The best wedgewood collection around.

Very disappointed with staff attitude , they couldn’t explain why a teacake took more than 15minutes to come out from the kitchen. We will never visit this place

Merseyrail, Lime Street, Central or James Street to Bebbington or Port Sunlight. It’s a 10 minute walk max from either.
