This is an excellent place to drop in for quiet prayer while there is of course daily Mass and organised retreats, there are lots of opportunities to drop in to speak with one of the resident priests or to pray alone in the beautiful chapel. Take time to wander through the gardens and outdoor area - a few surprises await... More

The Priory provides a pastoral and a community education role. It also commands a view over a bend of the surging and foaming Blackwater River. Visiting the Tyrone area over a weekend, we walked the canoe trail along the river and crossed the footbridge to the Priory. It is peaceful and quiet but also fascinating in light of the long... Have a long wander down to river and explore grounds. You can go inside and see some very okd stuff. A charicuture of late Ian Paisley is so amusing and I know he was there one time and saw it. The resident priests will be helpful but respect their privacy. Wonder Full place to visit.

Situated in Benburb village, the Priory provides access to walks along the Blackwater river and past Benburb Castle. The waterfall and river bridge afford opportunity to stroll through wooded space that is steeped in history. The village is small, tidy and pleasant.

If you want to experience peace, serenity and a little piece of heaven on earth, then the Servite Priory in Benburb is well worth a visit. The Priory grounds are enchanting and the people there are so friendly and welcoming. Believe me, a visit to the Priory will brighten up your day!

the Priory is a lovely place, one of my most favourite place in armagh/tyrone area to go for a walk. There is a forest on the grounds with a river and bridges you can cross. The forest has a mini graveyard in it and a castle.
