We visited the castle when it opened and had a wonderful time exploring with the castle to ourselves. We went with our young children and they love exploring the stair cases and towers. This was my husband's first experience of a welsh castle and he...More

The castle is definitely worth a visit if only to see who changed what and when. Very interesting circular towers, inner and outer courtyards. The views are spectacular from the top.

The largest castle we visited in Wales, Kidwelly Castle offers a lot to see and do with plenty of ground to walk, rooms to explore and history to learn.

After seeing many castles during our stay in Wales. This one did a good job of explaining the inhabitants. There were several interactive displays along with hands on exhibits. The rooms were well documented.
