We managed to find this place for a pint on our spare afternoon in Skipton before setting off to walk Lady Anne’s Way. Another simple micro pub offering great ales with very friendly service and no superfluous ‘frills’. Well worth seeking out.

This pub is tucked well away in Skipton town centre. It's small but perfectly formed. Very nicely decorated and enough seating. Friendly staff and even a few books to pass the time. Nice bar - would go back.

Six changing hand pulled beers which are kept in tip top form. Small but cosy establishment just off the main street with friendly clientele. A must go to.

The Beer Engine is a remarkable achievement, a tiny micro-pub with the feel of a "proper pub". Great beer, great atmosphere. Expect the sound of conversation and laughter when you visit.
