This is a gem in a sort of an "out of the way" area of the province depending on your point of view, at least. It is well worth the drive from Halifax if you have kids or grand-kids and are looking for a some...More

What a wonderful find! This place was a best little zoo ever, right out of a movie. All of the animals had a story and they looked well taken care of. We got to see them feed the big cats and they even have a...More

Oaklawn Farm zoo has been opened to the public for quite a few years now. It is a great place to get up close to exotic wild animals. Check out the daily feeding times for the big cats. The staff walk you through the feeding...More

A smaller version of bigger zoos but still many animals to see, including tigers and lions. The chimps are hilarious to watch. A fun outing whether you're 5 or 50. Great areas for kids to play or feed the goats. Very clean property all around.

Kids love this place! We get a family pass every year! They could go every day if we would take them!
