My husband and I were so looking forward to swimming in the blue hole. Nowhere in all of the reviews was it mentioned seaweed. When we arrived at the beach we were disappointed that at least 1/4 of the hole was covered in sea grass....More

Dean's Blue Hole is filled with beauty and mystery! It is a gorgeous sight to behold snorkeling around the edge and over Dean's Blue Hole. You see all kinds of fish and underwater treasures. We snorkeled the cove and found sand dollars and more sea...More

The blue is absolutely breath taking! I was a bit freaked out because it's so close to the shore but the weather was picture perfect so the water was so clear!

Deans blue hole is a great place to snorkel and just be amazed by in general. Really, it is just a big blue hole full of water but it is so strinking. There are many fish to see around it as well.

Please look at a map and see that Freeport is a very long way from southern Long Island. The Blue Hole looks like dark blue water. Unless you are a free diver, it's just water and a small, nothing special beach. The... More

It is 150 miles from Nassau, so it would use a lot of fuel. Cheaper to fly there and explore Long Island. Check out Bahama Dreamin for somewhere to stay.
