After a day of seeing the sites, we wandered into St Jacques to have a look. The old building is in a pretty sad state these days, but still has so much to offer in architectural beauty! Lots of little side stalls with different carvings...More

It's quite sad to see such a venerable and historic church in such disrepair. There is some evidence of minor restoration work-but it appears to be moving at a snail's pace. It would take very substantial funds and considerable expertise to restore the church to...More

My husband really likes churches and I am fond of architecture too, so a perfect match. ;-) This is a nice and soothing church. It is beautiful but it has a really nice and calming atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

A lovely peaceful church. Beautiful architecture- A choir was singing when we visited, which enhanced our experience.

This is a lovely church to visit. Yes it needs restoring but the carvings are wonderful. Some nice enclave churches inside. It is located off the main square and is well worth popping in. Lets hope they start to restore this soon.

The church, outside and inside, offers excellent photo opportunities with its many side-chapels and its windows, altars etc. Not as famous as the one in Paris, but should be!

Quite attractive old Gothic church, only the violet doors are a little ridiculous and hardly compatible to the facade. Visit small traditional market next to the church on Tuesdays. Some streets around the church are also interesting.
