About
Brown Hill Estate is a family owned boutique winery in Margaret River. Our grapes are dry-grown to produce our signature style of deeply coloured, intensely flavoured wines.Our estate grown include wines for every occasion from everyday drinking wines to our extra special Reserve Red Wines. Our 2008 Perseverance Cabernet Merlot was awarded 96 points by Ray Jordan in his 2011 WA Wine Guide and our 2010 Chaffers Shiraz was named 'Best Value Wine' in his 2012 WA Wine Guide. Open 10 am - 5 pm, 7 days a week.

Chiara is very friendly, knowledgeable and interesting and was one of 3 vineyards visited. We tasted several wines and not just the cheaper options. Very enjoyable.

As a local I have visited Brown Hill Estate many times. I love their wines, there is nothing fancy about this cellar door ..no gift shop or food just people with a passion for making and promoting their glorious wines. Today I took two people that had never done a wine tasting, Chiara talked them through every wine .

Such a friendly welcome and some truly beautiful red wines. We had visited a couple of the bigger wineries nearby and weren’t as impressed as this smaller, family owned and run winery. Highly recommend - and we look forward to the wines waiting for us when we get home!!

A privately family owned winery,very personal tasting,we greatly enjoyed the knowledge and sharing of information. The wines were terrific and will visit again someday.Thoroughly recommend this winery,the privately owned wineries are far more rewarding to visit.

Small family winery that gives excellent and vert friendly personal tastings. This was our favourite tasting session on our trip round the Margeret River region. Although the buildings were not as polished and corporate as some of the others the knowledge of the staff was excellent and the personal attention we received could not have been better. The wines were lovely too.

What a fabulous final vineyard to visit on an overall excellent day of wine tasting.
The outddoor setting for the group tasting was great. Relaxed and informal fun was had under the expert stewardship and guidance of Nic. She not only knew her wines, she engaged her audience with humour and great confidence.
The wines being shared were all delicious, and of course some had to be purchased for later consumption and enjoyment back home. I chose their 2019 Shiraz which I thought was outstanding.

Great wines and the owner Nathan was very knowledgeable about the winery’s history and wines. Very friendly chat while tasting many of the reds and whites. Recommend.

Great atmosphere with really friendly owners. We were delighted to discover a great chardonnay and Pinot at this small winery. They offered an opportunity to send wine home with no extra charge. We are still enjoying their wines and will order more in the future
