Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Scenic drive to waterfall and it’s an easy 30 minute return walk to the falls through beautiful canopy rainforest area with giant tree ferns, stunning. The falls were great to observe. And on the way back you can either stop at the pub or dairy for a lunch or snack and make a day out of it

The falls are 90 m high and quite spectacular. The road there is rather windy and narrow but worth the drive. The walk to the falls is 600 m on a good pathway. Coming back it is uphill but do-able! The beautiful fern forest is stunning.

Waterfalls are quite common - well at least compared to where I come form. This was one of the best we saw during our trip to Tasmania. Worth the walk and reward yourself with a drink at the pub in the paddock or the dairy cafe afterwards.

Tight winding road to reach the access point, all sealed road. A well kept trail leads down to the viewing platform. Is a little steep in some locations. Beautiful scenery on the way down and where the to rivers meet. A great viewing point looking up to where the water pours over lip of rock at the top. Is worth a visit.

It's a very BEAUTIFUL walk, though more difficult than some people seem to make it out to be. The walk back up is very uphill and more difficult, with a few benches along the way. I could only make it half way down, and had to turn back around.
My family came across a wallaby ahead on the walking track which was lucky, and I enjoyed the robins and wrens as I waited up top.
For those unable to do the walk, you can actually see the top part of the waterfall from the side of the road, as seen in my photo.

We saw the waterfall after heavy rain and it was raging down the cliff face. A beautiful walk and a roaring waterfall; this one should not be missed if you are a great outdoors waterfall lover. Good parking at the start of the short walk to the waterfall. If you are unable to walk one can see the waterfall from the car park.

It’s 10-15 minutes off of the main highway. We enjoyed the short walk as much as the falls. Both are very impressive. Definitely worth a stop if you’re nearby.

Very pleasant and one of the better walks through rainforest all the way to the very high falls. About 600m one way. Easy walk down, slight incline on the way back. There is a small viewing platform at the end of the walk.

The waterfall can be seen from the road as you drive in but getting up close is spectacular!
It is an easy short walk for the kids through a magical forest and if you keep a keen lookout in the streams you might be lucky enough to spot a platypus - we did and it was so special!

Recommend the drive out with a stop past the cheese factory on the way to make a nice afternoon excursion.

After a 500 meter walk from the carpark, the view at the waterfall was simply amazing. Water gushing down at such speed that you feel cool and refreshed just by standing there, listening and seeing the falls. Along the trail towards the waterfall, there were also many species of trees and plants. Great place for family, or people who'd like to calm down and relax. Though it may be a long and bumpy drive up, the view is simply stunning, everything was worth it!
