Absolutely gorgeous, came here on a very hot day and it was stunning. Not much people till around after 3 or 4pm. There was a beautiful warm stream than was just perfect for the kids just before the beach. Kids loved it and so did we. Definitely coming here when the weather gets hot again.

The beach was nice a clean. The sand was good to dig in. The surf was quite rough though (may have just been unlucky with the conditions). It is interesting to watch the hang gliders coming down from the headland and landing on the beach. There is free parking, although limited.

Visited here after we had been to Symbio wildlife park, as the weather had been brilliant there. Unfortunately the smoke was affecting the beauty of the place and the sun was now very hazy. We stayed for an hour or so just relaxing after walking around Symbio, and had our first paddle, but the water was freezing! We were amazed how cold it was. We still really enjoyed it and had a walk up and down the beach. Then we went up to the cliff top as my daughter had advised the view from there was fabulous, but it was not so good due to the smokey atmosphere unfortunately. We will return on our next visit to see it in it’s full glory hopefully!

Simply the best beach in Sydney and a hidden gem. Where else do you see horses on a beach 50 min from Sydney.
