Great!
Jun. 2021
We visited symbio today as it has been a while since we have been up close and personal with some Australian wildlife. we really enjoyed seeing all the Australian birds, reptiles and animals such as the dingo, echidna and wombat, but the highlights include feeding the cute wallabies and kangaroos. one of the them was holding my hand while feeding which was so adorable. Another highlight was seeing of my favourite animals the meerkat.

The park is very well maintained and clean, will recommend this place for families with children to interact with wildlife and for tourists who want to be closer to wildlife.

Disappointing
Jun. 2021 • Family
We met family at the park, both of us having to drive an hour and half or more with young children. We arrived to find a line up of over 80 people just to get in. The line was hardly moving. There were so many people leaving the line or turning around with upset children due to this. I understand this can be out of the control the park have. We have recently visited various zoos and parks with all of them having a prebook only option to limit the number of people entering the park. They also ensure you choose an arrival time to limit the amount of people gathering etc. We decided to not line up due to the long wait with young children. It was disappointing to see many people leaving with upset children.
We are yet to visit the park so cannot comment on that but I think next time we will be trying to find a more suitable day and time with young children.

I understand people may not see this being an issue but we did try to avoid this. Of course we expected to not get straight in. Disappointing to have to travel up to Helensburgh to only leave again.

Enclosed Kaola sanctuary
Open green field to interact with Kangaroos/Wallabies

An iconic wildlife park in Helensburgh NSW
an idyllic setup of natural habitat for wildlife; highlights are Australian natives of kaola, kangaroo, wallaby, emu, echidna, dingo, cockatoo to name a few;
Most enjoyable to walk around each habitat, allowed to take photos,; Park facilities are kiosk, picnic tables, souvenir shop; must see wildlife park👏 for families & visitors.

Small Park That Will Leave You With Lots Of Happy Memories
Apr. 2021
Came here yesterday with my family and Boyfriend and we all had a great time. The whole park has recently been renovated and it looks great.Symbio is quite a bit smaller than other zoos and wildlife parks but it is still a great place that you will leave with happy memories. Snakes are my favourite animals so of course the first place we went to was the Reptile House. Inside the reptile house two of the snakes were still Snakelets (the Inland Taipan and the Red Bellied Black Snake), I have never had seen a Snakelet before so I was very excited to see two they were adorable especially the Red Belly who was very playful. I also saw two Woma's who appeared to be mating, another amazing thing I have never seen before. For any snake lovers like myself here is a list of the snakes at Symbio
- Pygmy Python
- Inland Taipan
- Eastern Tiger Snake
- Common Death Adder
- Red Bellied Black Snake
- Jungle Carpet Python
- Olive Python
- Woma
- Centralian Carpet Python
- Rough Scaled Python
As you enter the park you are able to buy food to feed some of the animals, I bought some food and got to feed some Rock Wallabies. One of them actually held my hand as he ate out of my hand which melted my heart. You can see just about every kind of Australian animal at this park but they also have a few exotic animals such as Cheetas and Red Pandas.
One tip, take your own food because the food at the kiosk is not that great. Also if you have kids and are going in summer pack their swimmers because there is a water park.

Symbio Wildlife Park
Jan. 2021 • Couples
What a wonderful experience at Symbio Wildlife Park, there is so many animals here from farm animals where you can feed goats, to even meerkats and reptiles! We got some nice shots of the curious baby animals having a little look around which we were excited about 🦔

Well worth the visit if you are around the area!

Disappointing
Mar. 2021 • Family
When last I visited Symbio, there were talks/shows. This time we just wandered around. Some enclosures appeared empty and it was difficult to find staff to help.
The water park is great but the zoo part was disappointing. Lots of goats!

Costly and poor customer service
Feb. 2021
We visited with two grandchildren. The animal displays are fair and interesting. Most people seemed to be visiting with younger children. The most popular attractions were the playground with swings and slides etc and the Splash Park water feature. Relatively costly compared to other wildlife parks such as Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary in Brisbane.

Very slow handling patrons at the entrance and incredibly slow at the food outlet. It took 50 minutes to queue and purchase a few sausage rolls and bottles of juice. In that time very young children get restless. These extreme delays were hard to comprehend. The young staff seemed to lack experience and/or maybe real motivation. There were not enough staff rostered on, on a Sunday with good weather.

Rating averaged. 3 for wildlife but 1 for customer service and value.

Great zoo but don't have a party here!
Feb. 2021
We had organised a 5th birthday party here and i realised the day prior to the party the kids package includes 1 adult only (not 1 adult per child). I only realised this when i was on the phone to the park and i had already invited the adults. On party day, we barely saw any staff, just at food and cake drop off. Again at the end, i explained i had made an error with the adults, that i would not have had a party here if one adult only was included as there was no way i could have managed 15 kids at a 5 year old party by myself and asked if the adults price could be discounted in anyway. Nope, nothing, nada.... so they made $910 (an extra $360) from me on a pouring down rainy day and we left with a bitter taste in our mouths especially as the staff were so absent and non customer focused, a bunch of teenagers and a greedy manager, the exception being the animal encounter staff who were great. Save yourself some money, invite some friends and bring food in and have a lovely time!

This place has always been great but the new modern bathroom facilities were icing on the sanitary cake. Five stars.

Symbio Wildlife Park for the day.
Dec. 2020 • Family
We took our son here for the day as the weather was nice and sunny. It was rather busy, however, there is lots to see and do, especially for the youngsters. There are enclosures where certain animals can be hand fed as well as general exhibits of Australian and international animals. There is a small water park to keep the kids entertained as well.
The staff seemed to be fine, I guess additional staff would have been better, however, it wasn’t that bad. The incredibly rude tourists are the problem. There are those who will blatantly jump the line and I even had a bag of animal feed taken out of my hand. A fellow visitor took the bag out of my hand and just walked off.
