We spent about 3 hours here. The zoo is small compared to Taronga zoo. The benefit of this zoo is you can get close and personal with the animals. Amenities are good. The zoo has improved so much in the last couple of years. It...More

Very small collection of animals. Pleasant drive from Sydney but only one handicapped parking space when you get there. Wheelchair friendly paths do not extend to all areas of the zoo making it difficult to get around.

I'd been dying to take my young children (3 and 1) to the zoo for ages - I just wanted them to be old enough to cope with it and appreciate the day. When I visited Symbio with work I immediately threw out all plans...More

Symbio wildlife park is a small but authentic wildlife park with a wide range of wildlife in natural settings. The park is well maintained and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. A great place to visit for families.

The lasttime we had been to Symbio was back in the early 1990s. It certainly has changed. The feeding of the farmyard animals and the kangaroos was a nice touch kept from that time. The zoo is small and easy to get around. There are...More

Is the first bus from the Helensburgh Station to Temple Road at 10:24? I notice the earlier buses don't go as far as Temple Road. I tried to contact the bus company but they don't have a full email address. sorry about that. hope you can help me. thanks. Nancy

Sorry I am unable to answer that question as we went by car. However I would suggest that you call Symbio as they will be able to help with the bus timetables

We want to visit Symbio from Sydney. We are actually staying in Erskineville. This is what we have come up with to get to you. T3 Bankstown Line. Transfer to South Coast Line getting off in Helensburgh. I found a bus schedule that says operated by Premier Charters that would pick us up in Helensburgh and we would get off at Temple Road and then walk to the park. Does this sound anywhere near the best way to make this trip? I notice you mentioned Green Northern Coaches. Are they the same as Premier Charters. Any help you can give me will much appreciated.
