I walk around the Alwen Reservoir every now and then, it usually takes around 2 hours on foot, I would highly recommend for families, people with dogs, runners and anyone else! Always very peaceful, just very tranquil compared to brenig which is always busy!

We regularly walk around the reservoir, with the dogs, or ride it on the bicycles, it is about 7 miles and is well worth the time. it would be a great day out for a family
