So quiet and such a lovely place I feel undiscovered fitting!! Well made paths lots of wildlife disabled access and family friendly. Bonus free parking too.

There are 2 entrances to this park, one via the Western Link Road the other via Bysing Wood Road. I live locally in Oare village so l used the Western Link Road entrance. As a new dog owner l decided to visit with my 6...More

The country park is delightful. Little glades, ponds and water. Fascinating history and museum about the gunpowder works. I went when there was an art festival on with different artists displaying their crafts through the woods. There was music and dance with lots for children....More

A lovely walk around this historic site. You can follow the short or long walk around with lots on information boards to read as you go. Plenty of picnic areas and they are currently building wheelchair access to some areas. There is a lovely lake...More

Well laid out park with walks around the ruined buildings of this historic industrial site. Quite small so walk will take less than an hour and is not strenuous. Small well done visitor centre; offers tea, coffee, or chocolate plus biscuit for 50p. How's that...More
