There are 2 entrances to this park, one via the Western Link Road the other via Bysing Wood Road. I live locally in Oare village so l used the Western Link Road entrance. As a new dog owner l decided to visit with my 6...More

This is a small walk through greenery surrounded by history. There are signs which provide details on the structure and a visitors centre with parking at the main entrance. It’s well kept and clean. There is a river running through also that is a delight....More

This really is a wonderful place to walk. Beautiful to see nature reclaiming what was once an industrial area. Lovely old industrial architecture, clear paths, lots of wildlife. Beautifully maintained too. We love walking here all year round.

What a lovely place! Admittedly I didn’t read the website properly and was gutted the visitor centre wasn’t open. This meant no toilets were open. We weren’t able to stay as long as we’d like to because of the toilets but still managed 1-2 hours....More

Visited here today with my mum, son and the dog. Enjoyed a lovely shady walkaround the park which was lovely given it was 30 degrees today. Enjoyed walking by the lake and saw swans. Interesting to read about the history of the place. Free parking....More

Spent 15 minutes in the visitor centre and then an hour walking through the parkland and having a look at the remains of the Gunpowder mills. Not much of the original mills remain, so information boards give you an idea of what you are looking...More

So quiet and such a lovely place I feel undiscovered fitting!! Well made paths lots of wildlife disabled access and family friendly. Bonus free parking too.

No its a donation. They also sell tea or coffee
