For 15cuc plus 1 CUC bike parking fee we were able enjoy a great day out drinking and eating. The sea is teaming with fish and is perfect for snorkeling. For 25 cuc you can also go diving.

Punta Perdiz offers the 15cuc experience of entrance, drinks, seats and lunch that you will also find a couple of other places in the area. Drinks are strong and the food... well it is food. (We only did the package one day. The others we brought some sandwiches and rented the sunbeds for 1cuc each and enjoyed the day.) We mainly went here because our Casa owner, was also running the Dive shop here. So motivation wise you can doubt our intentions if you like. But we actually had a nice time. The water is beautifully blue and clear (take weather on the day into account on these things always) with lots of fish. We enjoyed diving and snorkling to see the fish and corals. I spent a couple of hours here during a day trip to Guama. I had a nice meal of fried rice and chicken along with a cold drink in the restaurant. I then had time to go onto the beautiful beach by the beach bar where people had the opportunity to do some snorkeling and relaxing sunbathing between palm trees. The beach was lovely and the water a lovely clear blue. The snorkeling was worth it,plenty of fish to see.I had some time to take photographs of the restaurant, beach, snorkeling, flowers and wildlife. The snorkeling appeared to be very popular here and i enjoyed the short visit here.…

We came for a day of snorkelling and sunbathing and it didn't disappoint. There are plenty of reefs without having to go more than 150 metres from the shore and a huge number of colourful fish, who come pretty much to the shore. Plenty of sun loungers and with the all-inclusive ticket unlimited drinks and some food, which was fine by Cuban standards. I was disappointed that the drinks were in single use plastic cups which needless to say plenty of idiots were taking in to the sea and just dropping when finished - surely there must be a better solution to avoid spoiling this wonderful spot with plastic? Overall though I would highly recommend spending a few hours here.…
