We had a stop there during our Bay of Pigs Tour. We stayed a bit there to rest and relax. But I was the only one to swim and I chose to go snorkeling in the sea. This location is relaxing and peaceful. Lots of green, nice pathway until the cave and nice singing birds' surroundings. At the entrance, there is also a young crocodile, that you can touch, hug and carry. "El Pucho" is his name. (If it happens that you are Greek like me, you'll probably laugh as much as I did when I heard it!). It was fun & interesting. What a shame though we didn't get to see the birds. The snorkeling though at the sea across the cave, paid off for everything!…

The location is a must for any that are planning on birding south on the island. The main attraction is the Blue-headed Quail-Dove which can be seen around the restaurant a good portion of the time. Other birds of note here are Cuban Trogon, Western Spindalis, White-headed pigeon, Red-legged Thrush, West Indian Woodpecker, Tawny-shouldered Blackbird, The stop was one of the only places that looked like it might have services from Playa Larga to Giron.…

We are quite experienced divers, but we never dive with such an uninterested diving instructor. On his face we could already see that he was too bothered to go down with us for a dive, he was bored to death. The behaviour you just do not want to see from a diving instructor. The worse part was that he pushed my girlfriend into firecoral from which she suffered several days after, worst instructor ever. By being so he lost customers for several dives, so not very commercial too.…
