We took an all-day tour of the western part of Havana and found these caves to be the highlight of the tour. Try to get here in an off-hour if possible because we had to wait for almost an hour to get to the boat...More

I enjoyed this very much. It's not for anyone who is not fit or who has difficulty walking or climbing. You need to hike a significant uphill trail and some of the rocks in the cave are slippery and there are ladders that you need...More

This is one of the three largest caves in Latin America. The tour is done in at least one hour with a specialized guide, has 7 levels and is a little dangerous.

Long wait in cave for boat. Interesting trip in subterranean lake with plenty of stalagmites etc. Not that large- grottoes de Han in Belgium or Cuevas de Drach in Majorca far more extensive. Fun nonetheless.

That specific area in Pinar del Rio Province is pure limestone underneath and houses the largest cave system in Cuba and one of the largest in the American continent. Spelunkers! this is your place!

Interesting enterprise set up by locals. They have built a small dam to raise a river that backs up into the cave, making it navigable.
