Talk about fun! And absolutely no dramas. Staff were so friendly and explained everything well. We were on the water just a couple of minutes after arriving on the beach. Great value too.We will definitely book again next time we're there.

My daughter and I had our first go at paddle boarding today, and we really enjoyed it. We checked in with Jay and Rod, filled in a quick form and then were given our boards. These were selected to suit our individual height and build and our paddles were altered to give us a personal fit. This attention to detail was fantastic. We were then given a comprehensive lesson on balance, paddling, how to fall safely in the event we should come off our boards (which I'm thrilled to say we didn't), kneeling, turning and standing. Jay took us into the water an encouraged us for the whole lesson. It was great value for money, and the attention that was given to us both was reassuring. I would highly recommend Shoal Bay SUP and am taking my husband and son next week too. Thank you so much Rod and Jay, we had an amazing time! 😀

Had a great time paddle boarding at shoal bay, extremely friendly and welcoming. Was great to be taught how to paddle board rather then just thrown in at the deep end without a clue.

10/10 great time! Easy to book and a lovely owner who got us comfortable on the sup boards and then let us do our own thing. A must do when you visit the bay

I booked in to do a SUP lesson on Wednesday, however as Rod wanted us to have a very positive experience we had to delay the lesson for a couple of days due to wind. When we did eventually get to the lesson it was great 👍. Rod was very caring! He was very patient and never tried to hurry us up. Will definitely be back!!

This was my first attempt at SUP and it was amazing. Rod provided short lesson on the beach about the fundamentals and in no time had me out in the water enjoying the beauty of Shoal Bay. He spent sometime with our small group on the water, even taking photos of us,and left us to enjoy our new skill. Thanks Rod. I highly recommend You and tour business!!

If you’re looking to dip your toe into paddle boarding & don’t know where to start, this is the place to go. Rod is a great teacher & a top bloke. Had us up & running in no time. Shoal Bay itself is an absolute gem & the perfect spot to start paddling. Can’t recommend these guys highly enough.

My wife and I were looking for somewhere to try standup paddleboarding for the first time and came across Shoal Bay SUP. We texted the number on their website and set up a 1hr rental that afternoon. The owner Rod, was very outgoing, fun and enthusiastic. He came out on to the water to give us an overview on what to do and took a few pictures for us then let us do our thing. We had lots of fun paddling around the bay!

This was our first time on stand up paddle boards and our instructor Rod made the whole experience magical. The time he spent explaining the basics to us before going into the water was so worthwhile. We felt like pros from the time jumped on and stood on the SUP. Dolphin sightings were an added bonus!

Rod made the experience easy and memorable. As a family of four with two teens none of which had paddle boarded before is was a stunning experience in a magical location.
