Mining museum that gives you a glimpse of the boom the area experienced for an extended time. At the end of the tour don't miss the little rooom "Exposicion de Cristos" very interesting.

Our guide had ancestors who worked in the mine, and she was able to read to us entries from their pay records. There was much of interest on the tour -- we got to actually wear hard hats, and walk down a mineshaft, for example...More

You have to come and see the tunnel to get to know what it means to be in a mining town. Don´t forget to visit the ceramic shop on the way to the museum. A stop en route to see the marvel of lime stone...More
