Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The wooden open tower is located towards the west up the Mekong river on the riverside of Chiang Khan. It's about 10 to 15 meters high. At first I didn't know if it was open to the public as the surrounding grounds look like a waste land. I ask a local person and had the green light to go up to the top. It seemed to me a bit wobbly and I would not recomment small children to go up without proper supervision. There is no fence so everyone can climb it around the clock. The view is not particularly spectacular.

I went there for 2D1N , Fly from BKK early morning of Sat.My friend pick up me from the airport and we were heading to see Mt.Fuji in Thailand ( The shape of the mountain look a like Mt.Fuji :P ). It took us around 1 hour due to Feb is not high season thus there are less people which is very good. To go up we need to park car and take the local truck , it cost around 100THB ( can't remember exactly ). The view up there is quite nice and windy ( recommend to go in the morning )

After that we are going to Chiangkhan district ( in Loei Province ) , this is the slow life small district located beside Khong River ( Opposite is Lao ) there are a lot of small hotel and the price is vary range. I stay in Poolsawat ( 900 THB per night with shower room ). Activities here are bike around the district , in the morning can offer a food to monk which is very nice and good feeling.

If you never been to Chiangkhan and like something quiet , slow life and sit back relax then Chiangkhan should be yr destination. It is similar to Luangprabang but smaller

Enjoy

A small tower and viewpoint in Chiang Khan. Nothing special but it's ok. Always nice to have a view of a large river in front of you.

Can endoscopic view of nature as well as the birds. You can live in the morning until sunset. Lovers are very happy on this tower because the atmosphere is very comfortable.

Well, quite nice but not wow.
The skywalk is about 20 km away and quite crowded - but if you like it...
