A beautiful lighthouse and what a special treat for the public to go and be up close to this structure. The public is free to walk around the reserve area which provided some spectacular views. On the day that we visited there were whales out and about. Amazing! It was worth reading all about the history and structure. It is located in the Jervis Bay Military Reserve so we had to drive through a checkpoint. Free to enter.

On the day we were here, it was raining. The views of the ocean were mostly blocked by the rain and clouds, so I feel we probably missed the best bits.

The lighthouse is nice, but you can't go in. There is only so much you can do here.

Also, there are barriers stopping you getting to places with what I would guess give better views of the bay.

Access to the lighthouse is controlled by the department of defence. I guess they close the road to the light house on public holidays ?

We had great fun getting out to the lighthouse, and there are many nice beaches on the way. The view from Point Perpindicular is amazing and wehad the good fortune to see whales

Point Perpendicular Lighthouse is not to be missed. Amazing views of Jervis Bay to the south and the coast to the north. The lighthouse is beautifully maintained and an impressive structure. The dirt road out is well travelled but rough and dusty. There are several beaches along the way to stop and enjoy a swim or just a walk. Jervis Bay has pristine waters, clear and blue.

An interesting place to visit, with good views, interesting history. It would be more interesting if people could look in the cottages and lighthouse.

Pretty cool old light house in the most possible windiest spot in Australia ,
The old homestead would be cool to look in but I’m unsure wether this happens, perhaps they should.
The dirt road was smooth and minimal dust when we drove it in our 4x4
Any car could easily do it,
Remember no dogs allowed for some stupid reason,

Beware there is dirt road that takes you to the Lighthouse. The view is spectacular. If you are lucky you might see whales. Don't miss out on stopping at honeymoon bay just beautiful.

A rough, badly corrugated road in places, drive to the lighthouse. Nice lighthouse and buildings but no access inside. A good view of Jervis Bay but there are other places to get good views without the rough drive to the point. If your time is limited, I wouldn’t bother going there.
