Previously visited the establishment and was not very impressed. Recently my family wanted to go again as they had heard that it had improved. WELL they were right, the service was great the menu and variety of food offered was good and tasted great. Play area for children close by. Clean area, impressed. Well worth a visit.

Stopped in to have a coffee and buy some nut products. Quaint little place with chickens running around. Food was nicely presented and the coffee was good. We say unshelled macadamias for $7.50 a bag, for 4 for $25.00, we bought 4 bags. When we got them hope and starting cracking them, they were nearly all rotten, mouldy and sour. Obviously they have been laying around for a long time and have had their day.
My advise is buy the nut products, but the unshelled nuts are a huge waste of money.

I have been here for breakfast and lunch and coffee and cake. All delicious. Friendly staff (and the two dogs that reside here are friendly too). It does get busy on weekends....there always seems to be large tour buses coming here....but that's what happens when the food and coffee are great. They also have a great retail shop, with all produce revolving around their delicious macadamia nuts...which are grown on the property.

We drove to Medowie Macadamias today (27 December) having first checked their website to check opening hours (essentially open daily but closed public holidays) and found a chain across the drive. When we walked in, we found a notice on the store window saying they were closed until 2 January.
We don't begrudge the owners holidays, far from it, but It's not too hard to keep websites up to date. We were disappointed that they hadn't bothered.

Visited for lunch party of 4. Although busy service was great. All meals were generous and very tasty. The coffee was excellent. If in the area definitely stop in for a coffee well worth it. Also great play area for families with kids.

This venue was so good the first time, the prawn sandwich was a treat to die for so the Boat Shed cafe was a must for our recent visit to Soldiers Point. We were not disappointed and the coffee was good too. The new addition of the bronze sculpture was a nice surprise.

Have visited here many times, and always had a delicious experience. The meals are really healthy, with a macadamia influence, the coffees are beautiful every time. The setting is very pleasant outside close to the trees, or the inside enclosure is perfect even when the weather isn't. Equipment close to the tables for children to play is a real bonus. It's so easy to linger longer, keep chatting to friends, as it's a relaxing place to be, even for me as a local.

Went to try the ice-cream as per Sydney Weekender. $5 for a very small cup. Tasty it was, however over priced. There is other macadamia products to choose from covering, coffee, skincare products, soap, shampoo, etc. Cafe attached the food looked however we did not eat there as there is nothing to occupy the children apart from the ice-cream. Not allowed to climb trees or pick up any nuts on the ground. Resulting in board kids.

Very disappointed. Staff was rude, not welcoming at all. The playground outside set amongst the Macademia trees would have been a lovely spot to have the kids play whilst enjoying our coffee but it was super dirty and worn down, poorly maintained. We were also frustrated to find the cafe closed several times despite Facebook and website stating they were open again as of late January. Twice in early Feb we found it closed and sadly, third time was NOT the charm…. 1 star only for the coffee which was good!
