We visited Surin islands on a snorkeling trip and it was really amazing: clear waters, coral, lots of fish and no jellyfish stings. We've been snorkeling on a few places in the Andaman coast and nearby islands, but this was probably the best spot!

Our first visit to Mu Ko Surin was a brief visit to the park as part of an organized snorkeling tour. For me, it was love at first sight and I instantly began planning my return. When we were initially planning the trip back in the states the national park websites were daunting... maybe because they are all in Thai?... More

Snorkel and coral is not enough good as my expectation, but everything in this island is cool and natural, nothing artificial. People is the best part. I had stayed for 5 nights and met many cool people. From the beginning I pitched tent had a lot of wind, people around me gave me a hand with a smile. Many things... More

Been to Surin national park on day trip from Phuket. I have already been in quite a lot of islands and beaches in South Thailand but this one is really amazing. The water is so clear, lot of coral and fishes, beautiful white sandy beaches. Also, the local traditional village in Ko Surin Tai is amazing. Would be nice to... More

If you can visit for more days, on your own, not organized! We slept at Boon Piya resort, Khuraburi. Bought the ticket at the pier (7km from Khuraburi) at Sabina Tours. Return speedboat ticket is 1700 THB. You can sleep in tents and bungalows. Tent is 150 THB/day, bungalows are 2500-3500! Chose the tent!! (but ask for min two mattresses... More

2 days here is definitely long enough unless you enjoy sitting on a beach and doing nothing! Don't get me wrong the beaches are stunning! They are sandy yellow with crystal clear waters. However.... The reefs here were damaged during the bleaching a few years ago. So after several snorkelling trips, everything you see tends to be the same. There... More

Crystal clear turquoise water, beautiful white sandy beaches. Good food at the restaurant. Magical sunsets. Unfortunately lot's of bleached coral which was rather disappointing. The snorkelling was good the first day and average the second.. I'm glad I went but I experienced better snorkelling as The Koh Chang National marine park. I have to rate this as very good though... We went with Sea Star after booking through Similan Dive Center in Bang Niang village of Khao Lak. This trip was top notch; everything was excellent from the booking with the Dutch proprietor, the transfer service to the pier, the organized Sea Star operations staff, the food, the boat, including Ron our gracious and helpful tour leader. The trip was... More
