Nothing spectacular; good place to mingle with locals
May 2019 • Solo
Entrance fee is 700 Kyat per person plus 500 Kyat parking fee for the car. The fountains near the entrance of the park are the highlight but nothing spectacular; very loud music from loudspeakers. I did not have time to explore the entire park but what I saw was enough, trash everywhere, visitors leave food containers, plastic bottles, etc. behind, nobody cares. Locals love this park to spend time and chill after work and on weekends.

On an Saturday evening it's both scary and fascinating!

Wow!

I am still astounded by what I experienced:

The worst type of common, kitch, commercial rave blaring throughout the park. Stems enthusiasm from the locals, who rave away, raving their hearts out in front of the fountain.

It becomes somewhat of an armature dancing competition for teenagers and drunk adults. Drinking is not shunned on in this park! Alcohol breaths wherever you go! I thought I might've dropped some bad acid and tripped into a bad-trip rave party! It was no short of scary! Drunk people everywhere, all expecting you to take a selfie with them, becoming intoxicated with their alcoholic exhalations and fearing for my personal safety, under such wild conditions (in my home country this type of environment would rendered me raped and pillaged within minutes)! But rest-assured, your safety is guaranteed in this park. Everyone just wants to take a photo of you.

The impromptu rave got quite pumped up! I was thinking, there are night clubs made for this type of behaviour? Not a public park! I was shocked to see young women in longyis, drunk as skunks, dancing like no-one is looking and the're in a nightclub, downing their quart-sized beers, so drunk that they often took a few tumbles and rolled a bit down the hill. Insanity!

I laughed till I cried and took some great videos. Chaos. Was this my first Myanmar culture-shock? Maybe next time I will join in the dancing and show them my best moves!

Noisy!
Mar. 2018 • Couples
What could have been a nice walk In the park, turned out to be ever so annoying. A horrible rave music pumped out of innomerous loudspeakers. We tried to escape to the forest, which did not do the trick. Instead of music, the trees were stacked up with loudspeakers where bird- and animal sounds were polluting the air. The only live species to see were hens, chicken and roosters. Through the loudspeakers we heard barking dogs, lions, elephants.... Horrific and kitchy. Like in a kommunist park in Vietnam

Best of a bad choices

Pretty much no choices in the evening. This is a decent option. Quite nice with the lights and music. However if you've seen in other countries you'll be disappointed.

Lots of locals here. 800 fee.

Bring mosquito repellent or you'll regret it

A water fountain with light displays
Dec. 2017 • Friends
One of the attractions in Naypyidaw for the family and children. Although there are a couple of water fountains with light display, they are not something spectacular.

Go on an evening
Nov. 2017 • Couples
The park was packed with locals on the evening we visited and everyone was in good spirits. Not half as interesting during the day. Also check out the artificial waterfall that you can walk under on the opposite side of the bridge.
