Street food here is great and cheap. Clothes hard to find big sizes. Got some super cheap cosmetics too. Not much to do in evening so check it out. Taxi from hotel area is 12000k

Entering this market feels somehow quite different from the usual Asian markets. What immediately strikes you is the very ordered nature of the stalls, where everything one would normally find in a General Store, could be found here, in addition to a number of food...More

Very crowded market. Shops sell reasonable price. Have to buy local food products. Evening open air market is interesting. Famous local products such as bamboo shoot, nan- sein cake and cripsy penuts.

A great place to get yourself essential cooking for food. Vegetables, fruits, fish oil rice and all the foodstuff you could find in Yangon is available here..The express bus station is nearby also . Thus a central market for all.

Only lively place. Local flavor. Clean local food options. Fresh fruit & vegetables. No option for any other purchases. Simple shopkeepers. Can get cheap daily wears.

It is the best known traditional food market in the city, and that's where many locals do their shopping especially in the evening. You can buy all varieties of things from clothes to food products, and etc ...

This is a cute market and it looks like normal life on npt. If you do not have time to go to piemana to see people then myoma is a good alternative. Get some on the colourful baskets.. They are great!

Not the best, most beautiful or biggest market in Myanmar. But the only place in the city which feels alive and full with locals. Definitely worth visiting if you´re leaving with the bus to take some groceries for the road.
