We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Encouraging start when we lucked into the best table in the place ( the raised one for two on the right )
Prompt service till they got a little overwhelmed later ( tho you can just go to the bar yourself)
A good music venue with great acoustics
One whinge ; we were a la carte and had ordered two meat dishes, the pork belly and the brisket; both very tasty but served with no sides or even a garnish! There are 3 sides on the menu, none to obviously fit our chosen mains but if we had been told the dishes were to be served naked we could have ordered something. Very odd when so much effort made elsewhere.

At first the entry fee might seem high but it does worth it. The music was great.
The service is professional and the food is delicious.
If you love jazz and live music in general this is the place you should add on your Fremantle to do list.

Or at least near the Port of Fremantle is a world-class venue for intimate Jazz in a modern, comforting venue. It is brand new, with an incredible fit out at, no doubt, at great expense and foresight to people movement.
From the moment we parked the car we felt as if we were somewhere else, Paddington in Sydney maybe, without the crowds and pollution. Also from the second we entered the front door we felt welcome and nabbed a brilliant table (ask for table #1!).
The food is lovely, and the wine list more than adequate, and the cocktail menu also extensive.
The staff were splendid; patient, busy, enthusiastic and appreciated.
The music included the Paul Millard Quartet which is a world class group whom I have loved before, and will do again.
If you like Jazz you will be spoiled forever as you will not find such gems as we have here in Perth with The Ellington and Duke of George; both sparkling and valuable.

We had been to Ellingtons Jazz Club & yes it was good. The Duke of George is also a Jazz Club although both play other styles too. The Duke is new & modern & overall more upmarket. There is now even space to dance if the music & singing takes you there. Yes, you can have dinner there or snacks & the drink selection is quite good, although as I said its more upmarket (more $$s).
Certainly worth a visit & we will be going back there as its not far from home.

This place is a not so hidden treasure for those who love music and are not into festivals. This place is for those who are old and young, but prefer small almost intimate venues with fabulous food and great selection of drinks. But most of all the MUSIC. Jazz and Blues are usually the flavour and not everyone loves either or both of these genres, however it’s still worth a visit. Especially on a lazy Sunday afternoon with amazing people to share it with.

What a find! Just fabulous music - Voodoo Zazoo is not to be missed- friendly, attentive and helpful staff and great New Orleans style plates. We’re going to make it a regular haunt.
