We popped up to north Norfolk on May Day bank holiday Sunday 2013. At first we stopped over at Hunstanton, what a disappointment, tinsel town with tattoos! So we moved east around the coast. Old Hunstanton is very nice though. We stumbled across Brancaster Beach...More

We took our two small children to the beach. Sand was nice, sea was great, lovely isolated location. However, the beach was awash (not sure that is the right word) with dogs. We don't have a dog and have nothing against them but it made...More

Gorgeous, unspoilt wide sandy beach. Had a lovely few hours in the late October sunshine walking along the beach looking for crabs and building sandcastles. Lovely and clean. Great beach kiosk which does a mean toasted sandwich and portion of chips. Beware of the tide...More

What's more to like...bracing air, brilliant sunshine and blue sky. Beautiful beach which is big enough to accommodate lots of people and you can take the dog. We had mixed age range of kids and there is something for everyone.

A fantastic beach for all pleasure activities. Dog-friendly and with a nice beach cafe. Loads of easy parking.

Brancaster Bay is a lovely place to spend the afternoon, mostly dog friendly. It’s not as pleasant as Wells or Holkham Bay but still lovely. There are toilets and a drink / food kiosk.

Visited Brancaster harbour at low tide. Pretty little place in nice bay. Most of boats in estuary had no water round them as tide out and it would be better still with all the small boats bobbing about in water. The crab stall had a...More

Easy to find beach and lots of wildlife to be seen on our visit. All very clean and nature as it is intended.

Brancaster beach is great for families and also people with dogs. Parking is close to the beach but you will need to watch for tide times as the road will flood. Miles of sandy beach with beautiful sunsets.

Sorry I do not know & did not see anyone riding during our visit. Looking at the size of the beach I can not see why it would not be OK. There is a golf club at the entrance to the beach perhaps the y could help?
