Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The spacious square makes this temple look open. It is large in size and has a variety of distinctive buildings, making it a nice temple to look around. A large building that gives you an old feeling, and the temple harmonizes with the various scenery, makes you feel very good to see and take a walk.

I did the weekend templestay program. But the temple is open everyday for regular visitors.
The program was really well organised and foreigner-friendly. By that I mean there was a special assistant who was by our side the entire weekend translating korean to English to make sure we didn't miss out on a single activity or talk with monks.
Food, vegetarian of course, is honestly one of the best korean foods I've had.

Buddhist temple in the middle of the mountains. Very quiet and peaceful place. If you are nearby or in the city of jeonju it is worth visiting. Only 20 km from jeonju.

Geumsan temple is located near the top of Geumsan mt.
View is amazing but you need to be prepared to do some trecking and steep stair climbing, so would not go with young ones.
Try out the ramen at the top while enjoying the surreal panorama view at the top!

Geumsansa Temple, nestled near Jeonju, is a real treasure for culture and history enthusiasts. Founded in 599 (although the visible buildings date from 1635), this Buddhist temple offers a peaceful atmosphere with its traditional wooden buildings, colourful decorations and carefully maintained gardens. This serene place, which has preserved its ancient charm despite the tumult of history, is perfect for an immersion in Korean spirituality. The surrounding natural setting adds a touch of tranquility, a quiet place, away from the crowds of tourists

Is it difficult to find the temple for the temple stay from the bus stop? And how steep is the walk up? My 80 year old father will be going
