Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Went to the markets early this morning with the family and a friend.
$2 entry per adult was a bit steep and there was very limited parking.
Otherwise plenty of different items to see and buy. A large variety of multicultural foods within the food court area.
The fresh fruit 🍉 and vegetables 🥒 were amazing! The quality was great and the prices were good. It was nice to support local farmers.
A great place for shopping or just for an activity to do on a Sunday morning.

Real food with real pricing and a great atmosphere for us and the kids . About 30-40 stalls with a mixed bag of foods from all over the globe . Live entertainment and jumping castles for the kids while we had a alcoholic beverage . Even got a card to hire the jumping castle from the operator of Castles 4 Jumping for my kids next party so we were able to have a great night out and basically organise our next birthday party too lol

When my brother and his partner suggested checking out Marketta, I thought they meant Marcetta or something a lot more Italian sounding.

Anyway, having been to East Street Northshore, Marketta at Mount Gravatt is a smaller, more convenient version, that is easier to get to if you live out that way.

There were plenty of choices in cuisines. I had the pad see ew from the Thai Street Food stall $12. Decent and affordable.

Like East Street, and many other food courts, Marketta is great if you are with a larger group with people who have individual tastes and budgets.

The market is awesome but the woman running the $2 fee booth (should be free for pensioners too) is very rude I have encountered that on a number of occasions...

The food was overpriced for the quality, the service was abysmal and the coffee had to be returned and redone. Only it wasn't was it. Simply had some removed and fresh "fluff" added. So instead of a cappuccino looking like a flat white with chocolate on top I now had a weak, cold cappuccino with cold "fluff" on top. Very disappointing.

Food court with a difference in true Marketta Style, with undercover areas!
Great place, good atmosphere, great range of food at realistic prices. The whole family can pick what they want from a multitude of vendors all cooking fresh. We tried the Family Gonzales and a Brazillian Meat Wrap, very tasty indeed!

Loved this!! We came along for dinner as we were staying nearby. Free parking and a $2 entry for adults over 16. When you walk through the gates you walk into an eat street plenty of tables in the Center with lots of food stalls around the outside all from different country’s, lots of choices and all around the $10 price tag some unusual quirky stalls too, the great thing is it’s all undercover and out of the wind. There is a bar available and great live music playing.. we had a very relaxed great night and will definitely be back if in the area

Yum! We ate too much as we wanted to try different things.

There are so many different food stalls to try. We shared Japanese and Nepalese main and then Dutch and Spanish desserts! There are a large number of chairs and tables so that you can eat while listening to the band. The fairy lights came on as the sun went down and the crowd began to increase. This added to the atmosphere.

A great environment. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back to try other foods.

A cost of $2 per person applies. I suggest that you arrive early to get a seat/table as the crowd increased substantially after 6.00pm.

The Mt Gravatt Marketta is a relaxed dining experience. We went with family including children and a new born; but it would be equally enjoyable with friends or for a date. The layout is orderly and access to vendors easy. The food is delicious and similarly priced to any food van. The band was great - providing a really good vibe. Will definitely be returning.
