Been to the markets many times. Have always found the stall holders to be friendly. Great clothes to buy and good value compared to the shops.
Good food options and places to sit.
Can get busy so be sure to go early.
They also have kids rides so if you have a little one it gives them a break from walking around.
Good and reasonable fruit and vegies for sale.

Great place to pickup a few bargains" You can buy Clothes, Footwear, Jewellery, Makeup, Just To name a few things Or Sit & relax with a Cuppa & watch the World go by.

A market to visit if you're into cheap antiques and art items, also old wares and a variety of things you don't see anywhere else , really humble. Recommended.

This is a great exprience! You get pushed and shoved by people too busy looking for a bargain rather than where they are going.I have never seen anything like it. Oh I did not think it was worth the effort, did not find many so called bargains! Still its worth checking out at least once. Maybe in a sumo suit!!

Returned to Fairfield Markets for a great day out shopping. There was plenty of parking when we arrived and we were lucky to get a parking spot near the entry gates. Lots to see and buy. Undercover and well ventilated markets. We shall return again for more bargains.

Every Saturday, lots of fun. They have a big variety of different stores, animals and food. Just to look or even buy something

Large undercover markets open on Saturdays 9am to 4pm at Fairfield Showgrounds. I finally went to Fairfield City Markets one Saturday morning after hearing about them on TV ads for 20 years.
There were stalls selling hardware, clothes, toys, furniture, toiletries, kitchenware, nuts, fruit, vegetables and much much more. We picked up a couple of small bargains.
Lots of food vans selling doner kebabs and hot chips.
Large clean toilet facilities on site.
Well worth an hour or two if you haven't got anything better to do

There are lots of stalls - most of them undercover - selling a huge variety of items from tools to fresh produce. The Vietnamese food van is great - but get there early as they sell out of the best stuff quickly!

If I had my time again I would go much earlier in the morning. It was very busy and difficult to look at all the stalls.

Cheap stuff you can get, many events are held here so it always something different. There is great food every Tuesday night, highly recommend
