Experience Melbourne from a totally different perspective on a Harley Davidson motorcycle joyride and tours where you are the passenger and someone else does the driving. Sightseeing tours from 1 hour to full day. Includes winery tours, Great Ocean Road tours and fully customised tours. NB: Do not book via Adrenaline or Red Balloon - they are not one of our agents. We come to you and will pick up at your hotel. For all ages, no special experience required all equipment supplied. We had a wonderful experience with Harley Rides. John and Austin were so accommodating they even moved the date of our ride due to bad weather. The bikes were great and the experience with the guys was so much fun. I would highly recommend it, we really hope to do it again one day!

From the first contact with John to the departure ,such a friendly professional response, leaving a feeling of great mate ship.
What an experience, defiantly a to do on your bucket list.
My son wanted a Harley Davidson Motorbike ride ,so we asked for the side car ,
Brilliant!!!, we went over the West Gate Bridge Melbourne and visited a few beautiful beaches ,also we checked out many stately original buildings of the Port's Townships,as John chauffeured us around.
We wore leather Jackets and helmets I forgot glasses but these John had forethought, in case, thank goodness.
To listen to the unique "Harley rumble" as the Motorbike Idles, then threw the gears working up to the well known "Harley growl"as we go flat out along the West Gate Bridge, the views were spectacular.
You must experience this adventure soon !!!.

This came as a great surprise to me as my cousin who lives in Melbourne had booked this without telling me.
From start to finish it was very professional but very relaxed with John and his colleague being the perfect hosts. They took us round to see parts of Melbourne that we would not of otherwise seen. Overall a brilliant experience that I would recommend to anyone to try.

OMIGOD - if you want to have some fun with a difference, book a Harley ride with John and Mick. Totally professional and great value, you don't need to be a tourist to enjoy a Harley ride around Melbourne. Support our local businesses and book a ride - you wont be disappointed !

I was fortunate to have a 5 hour tour with John. I was picked up at home (an hour NW of. Melbourne) and arranged to be dropped off in Healesville where I was staying for the weekend. This allowed John to customise the Yarra Valley tour to also take in the roads around The Black Spur. I had a fabulous time! John was professional and congenial. While I was a little nervous to begin with (I’m 64 and hadn’t been on a bike for more than 40 years 😁) I felt at ease by the time we were at the end of my street. Five hours flew by. Highly recommend it.

Thanks Joyce. Yes, it was the perfect day to ride up the Black Spur and then across the top of the mountain down to Warburton. Like most who take that trip, all come away saying they wanted to keep going as we don them off.

Have just had a great birthday treat. Harley Rides in Melbourne, had a 2 hour ride which went very quickly. Did not want the ride to end. John and Mick were fantastic, felt very safe, I have never been on a motorbike before. Would thoroughly recommend them.

Went on The Great Ocean Road trip, amazing ride, with great views, prefect way to go on a Harley. Highly recommend and would go again in a heartbeat. 😁

I had a great 1 hour ride with John! Very friendly and a total professional, he has plenty of riding experience and it shows! Felt safe the entire ride and he took me on a great scenic ride through Melbourne. We managed to have a great chat over the loud engine, which also added to the experience. Couldn’t recommend the experience enough was the perfect birthday surprise.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our ride in the sidecar with John along the beach road and through the Alber Park GP track. John was most accommodating and friendly. Would highly recommend this trip. Another bucket lit item ticked off. Thanks John.

This is a fantastic way to see Melbourne and the surrounding area. We originally contacted John about doing a one hour trip around Melbourne and our enquiry was handled very efficiently and my wife and I were picked up from our hotel bang on time. This was our first time on bikes and John and Mick were excellent company. Stepping off the bike at the end of the trip I think John already knew I’d been bitten by the biking bug and would be giving him another call… Several hours later I did. We arranged to visit the Yarra Valley wine region the next day on a 5 hour trip this time and it was a perfect way to see the area.
We visited 3 wineries (De Bortoli, Yering Station and Chandon) and picked up a very nice bottle at each (there’s room on the bikes for a few bottles). We stopped off for a bite to eat along the way too and the bikes drew many admiring looks and comments from fellow travelers and bikers.
John kindly filmed a lot of the day on his camera and uploaded the video on youtube so we have a great reminder of our trip. If you want to do something a little different when you’re in Melbourne then I would highly recommend getting on the back of a Harley with these guys. John, next time we're in Melbourne we'll do the Great Ocean Road with you!

Thank you James for your kind words. Yes, you are 100% correct - this is where people make decisions about their motorcycle riding future. What we so often discover is that what people think it will be like and what it is actually like are opposites. People who have never had an interest in riding a motorcycle quickly become converts. But not many come back so quickly : ) Many is the time some we have heard our passengers say as the ride nears its end, "Can we keep going?" Its all about how much you are willing to spend. But, as James can confirm the money will be well spent. And one only recognises why they spend more (to go on a longer ride) after the ride is over. Now, we don't want to encourage readers to lash out - a 1 hour ride is often enough. For those who can afford it - then a longer ride may be the way to go. In any event, we will enjoy the ride and time spent with you as much as you do with us.
