Went on an excursion to Saona with a tour group, first with a catamaran from Bayahibe and then with a speedboat on the way back, stopping at a natural pool. Chaotic with lots of different tour groups that seemed to merge and then later split...More

A beautiful addition to our Punta Cana vacation. Very fun speedboat ride, stopped in crystal clear, waist deep water to take a dip in the glorious water — then finished our ride just in time to enjoy a beachside BBQ and a few hours of...More

This was the one trip that I wanted to do when we decided to visit the Dominican, I was disappointed when I was told that the star fish were no longer there due to people not being respectful and taking them out of the water...More

It was peaceful, not to overcrowded, clean, enough shadow. The small tour in the village was a bit odd. This is where I felt a real tourist... we were not able (not enough time) to buy something from the shops, which was a pitty. Other...More

The boattrip to this little Isle is definitely worthwhile because of it’s scenery, the snorkeling and the beaches. But one thing...you’re not alone. Even the trip to the other side of the Isle (“less mass tourism”) was very crowded. A speed boat trip is recommended.

The water was clear and warm. Great sun, food and people. Having seaweed at the resort was disapointing and it was a long hour ride to bayahibe but worth it!

A visit by speedboat to Saona island was good fun: beautiful beaches and clearblue water, a day of relaxing. Not that much to see and the excursion itself was way overpriced, but hey, we only live once and it was good fun and beautiful pictures...More

I'm sure there are, but it would probably be better to stay at La Romana, Casa De Campo or Bahahibe as they are much closer. It's a two hour drive just to get to the boat if you leave from Santo Domingo. My brother lives... More
