Private Island Excursion

We loved our boat ride and our visit to the Isla of Saona! The BBQ lunch was the best meal we had on the entire vacation!

we got to the island on a catamaran and spent a day on it. The employees were all in an amazing mood and offered food. Bring some $ for the "vip" lunch that has fresh lobster. Also it is worth paying for the fancy pineapple and coconut with rum in it... they were expensive but got us quite drunk. we... More

We took this excursion after hearing about it from lots of sales people. Our landlord got us a good deal. We were picked up at our apartment and driven to the boat where we boarded a speed boat. I think we were supposed to get on the catamaran there so this boat actually took us to the catamaran. We had... More

Amazing pure nature, very good for snorkeling, swimming. We have made hundreds of photos. Just imagine - white sand, beatiful palms, sun and you can walk alone along the crystal turquoise sea. This is not crowdy place like others. Simply saying the touch of paradise in paradise...

This island is lovely! On the way to see it, we stoped in a place, a bit fat from the land, in the sea, where the level of the water is under the chest, it is warm, super-clear and the sand is like a powder. It is a protected area - natura swimming pool. Afterwards, we went to Saona Island.... More

I visited Saona Island as part of a diving trip with Happy Dive Center. It was an all day trip so be sure you are willing to commit to an all day excursion. We started out on a smaller boat, 10 of us total including the dive masters and boat captain. It was a small party all the way. Some... More

We took the Catamaran out to Saona Island for the day - it was a day well spend. Stunning scenery, crystal blue sea, soft sand and the most amazing beach I have seen. I definitely recommend visiting Saona Island, and when you are there you have to try their Pineapple juice (you can have it with or without rum) it... More

At first, I was hesitant about making the trip to the Island, but it's totally worth it. We booked a tour and went with a bunch of other people. The island itself is gorgeous. You get to swim in sand banks (sort of like ocean pools), see starfish and just enjoy the caribbean.
