Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

More info was required. All we had to go on was the fact it existed. Map took us to Guano Cave. 4wd track. If you come in off Jurien Road then you will need to deflate your tyres. Narrow track lots of scrub. Cave itself accessible by experienced people. Mind the swarms of feral bees. They block the entrance to the cave so we couldn’t venture in

Great cave for a short trip. Road was just cleaned up some sandy patches. Temperature inside cave was a great relief from 38c day :-)

We initially missed this turn off from the main sealed road. It is a very hairy 4wd track and the first 2km is very boggy sand (yes, we did get bogged). The track changes from wide and sandy, to narrow with rocks and close trees (our 4wd did get scratched - adding to the scratches already there :-)).
It wasn't too hot (around 25) and the bees were fine. We found the bees didn't come into the cave.
A colony of bats on the ceiling - could hear them squeaking. A kangaroo skeleton near the entrance. The bee combs are amazing.
If you are experienced with 4wdriving, I'd recommend it.

Lots of bees around the cave but once gouget inside it was really rewarding to explore. I found a family of bats deep insidethe cave, they were peaceful if not disturbed. My advice: Bring more than one torch, and move slowly outside the cave. Some bees may get curious and land on you, but as long as you stay still they will eventually leave you alone without stinging you.

These Photos are of NOT of Drovers cave !!! You will end up bogged on a bad soft lonely tack if you navigate to Drovers Cave!

These photos are of Stockyard Gully Cave. 40km further north of Jurien Bay. Stockyard Gully Cave is well worth the visit 4x4 only

Not in the normal map book but good log Google took us straight to the sand road, the sign is about 50 metres in, not visible from the road. Soft sand trail is suitable only for four wheel drive vehicles, no need to let your tyres down. No signs for the caves look for the taller trees and side roads. There were thousands of bees (not aggressive) and heaps of hives quite spectacular besides a little graffiti the caves are pristine. A good couple of hours in the bush.

Been to Margs and seen the caves down there, which are pretty impressive .
But this cave at Drovers National Park, situated in the middle of the scrub ,is something different.
You can walk right through the cave a couple of hundred meters and there’s no lighting, it’s pitch black . Take a torch or use your phone torch. The road in is a 4 wheel drive only , we took the south entrance. Easy peasy. The cave has a sandy bottom and looks like in winter it is possibly a river bed. It was pretty cool , had a few hidey holes in there . If you are scared of the dark , I recommend don’t go in .

4wd track is very narrow, prepare to get scratches on your vehicle, soft sand in parts as well. South entrance is much closer. The tracks aren't sign posted at all so keep a look out for entrances.

Would be nice if they put a bitumen road into the place there are a lot of people that cannot get there because it is only 4 x 4 driving Such a shame I have a 4 x 4 but would not take it on those roads about time the shire done something about it rather than spend money on cycle ways
