Awesome day! All the staff were lovely, the girl (sorry I forgot your name!) who booked my jump when I just walked in, Raven who got me sorted on the day and Travis (?) who kindly strapped me to the front of him and safely guided me out of the plane and back down to earth, the pilot with his big (ish) plane and the other people wandering around and jumping. As the only first time jumper and the only tandem in the plane I was made to feel welcome and a part of the bigger group of solo jumpers. My tandem buddy was super calm and had a chilled aura which helped relax me and made me know I was in good hands. He did an awesome job of getting some good footage of me, the plane, the surroundings and the landing. He even let me manoeuvre the parachute with my weak arms!!
The free fall was sick!
Thank you all so much, that was an awesome add on experience to my holiday and ended it nicely. I can 100% recommend to jump with skydive jurien bay! And if you’re as scared of heights as I am, just book it and don’t think about it. It’s not as scary as being on top of a mountain and you are in great hands.

From start to finish the whole team were helpful, friendly and fun.
The view, the jump and my instructor (Travis) were incredible, I loved every second of it - if you’re looking to skydive, do it at Jurien Bay without a doubt!

Most amazing skydive you could ever do!
Great location and great team make this a fantastic experience. Don’t miss it!
The team is funny yet very professional, be it Office, Pilot or Instructor.
I spontaneously dropped in on a Tuesday afternoon, and they managed to find a seat for me!
Had an amazing and cool tandem instructor. Probably one of the most bad ass people I’ve ever met (are you even allowed to skydive without being bad ass?!). Very relaxed and made me feel safe all the time.

Highly recommend doing the 14,000ft with 60 sec free fall! The feeling is unbelievable!! A massive shout out to Dan & Benji! Dan made me feel so secured and safe & Benji was just good vibes throughout!

Did the 14000 foot tandem skydive with my instructor and all round Legend Travis! This was a bucket item list I definitely wanted to tick off, and could not have chosen a better location or legend to pop my skydiving cherry! Safety was paramount, the winds were strong and blowing Easterly on the morning that we were jumping and were told that once we got up there if it wasn't favourable we would land without anyone jumping. Luckily that never happened and we all landed with huge smiles on our faces! 3 solo jumpers, and 4 tandems went up in the plane and all of us landed wearing huge new smiles :)
I cannot recommend this highly enough, and its worth overcoming any fears you think you have to try it at least once in your lifetime! Woohoo what a ride!

I did the sky dive from 14000ft on New Years Eve and it was the best way to finish off the year. So stoked to have had such a wonderful experience with a great instructor, the views were breathtaking.

This was my second here and in recent times and my third overall. Perhaps because I knew what to expect or maybe because I had a double high from doing sport earlier but it was the best one. Definitely want to repeat next year. It's naturally a bit nerve-wracking but safety is clearly important and it's 1000% worth once flying/falling. Plus the views are the kind people spend millions on. They have very skilled, respectful and extremely patient staff- I'm not great at following instructions, let alone when overexcited, yet Lindsay and colleagues took it all in their stride; when I'm sure the preferred option was to leave me in the bakery with a doughnut. Photography is exceptional. Brace yourself for some very interesting senses of humour.

Hi, yes we do, the choices of course and all the details are on our website Skydive Jurien Bay under the skydive tab, you will see "Learn to Skydive".
You could normally complete your A licence in about 2 weeks. Accommodation is included but food is not... we are right opposite the supermarket and cafe, etc Please be aware though that we only offer the course between March and October because it is too windy for students in the other months. I can't tell you about visas because I don't know where your from, so i recommend googling your nationality plus Australian holiday visa.

Does one need prior experience at skydiving to do it alone?

No Priya, but if you have done tandems before you start your skydiving course it is definitely helpful. Most people experience what we call "sensory overload" on their first jump, and this backs off with more and more jumps and your awareness increases. The best way to learn to skydive is to do a training tandem as a part of your course. Then you can get a one-on-one lesson with your instructor flying and landing your parachute safely and accurately, and you get to do a full rehearsal for your first solo jump as well. You will be more confident, perform better, and gain your solo skydivers licence quicker. Then the fun gets even more!
