I love Kearsney Abbey. As a local, it's been a part of my life for many years and a part of my children's lives too. Today was a stroll out with a young friend. She showed me the local dogs enjoying a walk with their owners (no poo to be seen). Then over the bridge to see the ducks and... More

Visited here last weekend on a sunny but chilly Saturday. Was obviously busy with dog walkers and families. You can take two paths at Kearsney; to the left past the pond and play area towards a woodland walk or go right and navigate the large hill which has decent views. We went up the hill and it was disappointing to... More

This is a lovely gardens and has lots to explore. The cafe is handy for ice cream, but we normally bring a picnic to eat outside. There are two play parks, a lake covered in birds where many children fish with little nets (which you can buy in the cafe), and lots of gardens and woodland to explore. We are... More

Oh Kearsney Abbey Gardens- what wonderful memories you have made for so many! Beautifully maintained gardens with ancient trees bulbs in abundance in spring, water falls and woodland, grass for ball games or just to lay and relax on . Lovely popular dog walking venue on one side of the river, and on the other side dogs are allowed but... More

A very pretty classical water garden. Apart from being close to a big road it is very peaceful and serene.

Always come here to feed the ducks during the summer with the wife. Great place for a picnic and got a little area for a bbq. Car park fills up quick when the weathers good so get in early.

Doesn't take long to walk around the whole park - 90 mins. Small cafe with limited range of goods and seating so a picnic is a good idea. No other shops on site or nearby. Difficult to park on a busy day and only two small car parks which are free. Lots of birds to see. Clean park. Toilets available.
