Not having a head for heights my wife & I took a 13 minute cable car ride on the red egg Isenau dating back to the 50's.The view from the top was beautiful and the short journey travels over parts of Les diablerets which makes a nice change.

I've visited Isenau twice now, once last year when the telecabine wasn't working and then again this summer. You can get to the dear little town of Les Diablerets using the summer 'free pass' which costs around 10 francs a day - gets you on trams, buses and all the lifts/telecabines up to the high places. No green slopes but the blues are wide and easy. And the staff are smiling and helpful, including the ski instructor who helped my daughter after a fall even though she wasn't part of his group! Stunning scenery all round, too.

Troubleless spot where you can take your kids skiing. Sun shines as early as lifts open and is surprisingly good. Not s whole lot of k's but it is good enough for the half a day amusement.
