I saw all the great reviews and website and thought it would be a great stopover for the family on our way to Lac Leman. Glacier 3000 is overhyped and overpriced. The views are amazing but that’s it. If you’re coming here expecting to do any activities like sledding, glacier walking, mountain coaster, then forget it, it’s not worth it. The mountain coaster hasn’t been built yet. I don’t know what pictures they’re using on their website but I was here end of June 2024 and workers were still building the coaster. The sledding is a tiny slope suitable for 3 yrs olds. The food at the restaurant was bad and overpriced. I realize it’s Switzerland and things are expensive here. I’ve travelled throughout Switzerland, Austria, Germany, France and Italy and this place is a total tourist trap. It’s only good for the view from the suspension bridge and for over CHF 250 for a family of 4, there are far better places to take in the view.

I enjoyed a memorable day with my sister and my mum on top of Glacier 3000. I visited last summer, and I managed to see snow. It's really worth the visit. I particularly enjoyed crossing the bridge between the two mountain peaks.

Gondola ride to Glacier 3000 was a great thrill. After three Gondola rides, we arrived at the upper station. Our walk up to the peaks, across the "Tissot Peak Walk" suspension bridge, was greeted with severe blowing which made the walk more memorable and thrilling. As we timed the visit to the early hours of the day the place was less crowded. All around were fantastic ski fields. Suspension bridge, was rather narrow but was the bliss of this tour. It was a thrill to walk across this slightly bouncy construction to reach the second peak. The panorama from the summit at glacier 3000 was breathtaking.

A huge construction site dominates the mountain and spoils any sense of tranquility. The idea that construction = Development surely has no place in the modern world. The ski slopes are poorly designed and few in number. All blue. All T-bars except about 150m one chairlift, only one restaurant. Overall impression best case everything done minimal cheap. Selling TISSOT watches to non-skiers seems to be the raison d'etre of this place

One of the best place I have ever visited. The peak walk is breathtaking. It has the highest Alpine coaster which I loved.

Our chilly visit happened just after the first two snows of the fall if 2023. It was rather cold, but the sunshine was provided some warmth. Whether it was the cold or lateness in the fall we had very few other visitors up there at the Skybridge during our visit.

The bridge itself is quite narrow which makes passing other tourist rather touchy. The bridge also sways and bounces depending on the number of individuals on it. Those are minor inconveniences compared to the "Instagrammers" who try to hog the big for their personal photo shoot. Can't imagine what this place would be like during a busy summer day!

Avoid this kind of experience, the price is abusive, not worth it, the treatment of the staff is very rude, they just want to take your money.

Good morning I1722LSrobertoc We're sorry to hear that your experience at Glacier 3000 didn't go as planned. We try to keep our ticket prices as low as possible, but maintaining and operating lifts at 3,000 meters is a very significant cost. However, it is unacceptable that our staff have behaved inappropriately towards you. We would be happy to discuss the matter with you and invite you to contact us at marketing@glacier3000.ch.

An absolute must do! The most fantastic views I have ever seen in my life.
It isn’t cheap, but it is worth it.
We did the Golden Pass Train from Montreux to Gstaad, the bus then literally meets you at the train as described - so easy. It is then about 25/30 minutes on the bus to the bottoms of the glacier.
When you get to the top of the glacier (2 very easy cable cars) there is more to do then first realised, we spent a lot longer there than we originally thought we would!
The glacier walk is fab and worth it, it is about 5km there and back. My recommendation would be wear walking boots if possible! The snow is deep and there are puddles of glacier water at points. It is a harder walk than it seems. But the views at the other side are worth it. We went the Refuge l’espace at the end of the Glacier walk and sat outside. Not cheap but stunning views and a good pit stop before the other 2.5km back.
By the time we had done that, the peak walk, a look in the shop and a trip down the alpine coaster we caught the second to last cable car back to the bottom!
Only thing is the buses from the bottom only run every hour towards the end of the day, so we missed the bus by 5/10 minutes so we sat in the restaurant at the bottom and had a drink whilst we waited the hour for the next bus.
It is so worth the trip, it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. My partner has skied a lot in his life and said he’s never seen views like that before either.

Fantastic to walk between the two peaks. Great views but you need to be patient when the clouds can move so fast that the outlook can change by the second . Well worth the trip .
