The museum is set in an old villa, and the walls are covered with impressionist and post impressionist treasures. The garden is lovely and they have many special events on the grounds.

Although some guidebooks / reviewers describe the collection as small, I've been to high profile exhibitions at major museums with a more limited selection. The villa provides a wonderfully intimate environment to see these paintings in the type of setting for which they were originally intended. The displays highlight how artists such as Renoir, Pissarro and Cezanne developed the impressionist... More

Museum Langmatt, which exhibits artwork from the Langmatt Sidney & Jenny Brown Foundation, is located at Römerstrasse 30, Baden. It is easily accessible from Baden Train Station & can be reached on foot in 8-10 mins; simply walk up Bahnhofstrasse (in the direction of Grand Casino), continue onto Parkstrasse and when you see Hotel du Parc, turn left into Römerstrasse.... Great place off the beaten track. Quality impressionist paintings and interesting exhibition with historic photographs. Villa and park (perfect for picnic) are top notch.

This former villa of the local manufacturer Sidney Brown presents now for me the most beautiful collection of French impressionist painters. I recommend summer for a visit to take a picknick in the beaztiful gardens...

There was a very nice collection of work from the likes of Renoir and Cézanne but the museum is very small. It took me less than 30 minutes to see the whole place.

this was my second visit to the museum. the paintings are exquisite and the Villa a good example of how factory owners of those days used to live. Garden and trees lovely. Cafeteria worth a visit.

A wonderful little museum in a gorgeous old villa. It is easy to reach from the train station. The villa houses an incredible collection of art pieces and has rotating exhibits that make this very worth while visiting.
