easy way to cross the river Limmat traffic free, suggest to combine with drinks in the old parts of Baden, near the bridge you'll find small cosy places

The bridge is very well maintained even if a bit dark. The view from the bridge is very nice in both directions and coming out the old town is extremely nice. A visit is suggested especially for the part following the bridge.

A colleague of mine showed me this spot. I was really surprised about the beautifull town. Especially the bridge, old tower and castle are so impressive. Really happy that I've been there.

Holzbrucke is a very attractive wooden bridge over the river Limmat. It is an old bridge with a charm of its own. You can do down the staris and walk along the Limmat Promenade which is along the river Limmat.
