Flims/Laax is great place for beginner to learn ski, many blue slope and learner most probably start around Crap Sogn Gion where there is rope to lift you up to small hill just enough for you to practice. Really worth to hire a coach for half day as they provide lots of information to you whether on skill, eating and... More

We are beginner skiers and wanted somewhere with long blue runs to practise. Flims was a great choice with easy transport connections (well it's Switzerland afterall). The beginner pass was a bonus it was exactly what we needed.

we are a family with two children it was over 900CHF for 6 day pass. What I found tiresome is there are not facilities to store your ski ,for a fee ,up in the mountain main stations unlike other Swiss ski resorts i.e. Scoul Graubunden this really helps with small kids. This is a really good area for older kids... More

Excellent snow conditions w4 of Jan 2015. Ski lift LA SIALA is now really at the end of life. Impatient to see the new one planned to run in winter 2015/16. With the last recent changes in CH/EUR ratio , skipass are becoming really expensive.

Fantastic modern ski resort, but expensive.. Wiener Schnitzel with French fries 24 EUR. In Austria Saalbach you will pay for same dish 12 EUR. One day ski pass 58 EUR in Austria 43 EUR.
