No worry this is an easy walk. It is not a steep path, it has a few stairs and the path is 1-2 m broad. However the wooden fence is far from trustworthy so I strongly suggest not to lean over. It takes around one...More

Really great hike. Only takes an hour or so from start to finish. It's signposted from the town, but the signs are quite small. I was worried I would freeze with the heights but I was absolutely fine. However, my partner, who is usually fine...More

OK, so some reviewer said that this walk was fine for those with a fear of heights! So I got to stare at the cliff-face, feeling dizzy for 500 metres while everyone was admiring the view. It's a dead drop and real scary.

The best way to find the start is to use the GPS directions from Noam's review in 2014- Route des Rives 11 1874 Champéry. Swiss 2 of our party are not confident of heights, but after reading several of the other reviews decided to give...More

We did this hike from Champery and we loved it. Our children are 9 & 6 and they were able to hike without any issues, you see this mentioned as easy in all the guide but I would rate it as medium. The total distance...More

Great views but don't go there if you have a fear of heights. Great Cantine (des Rives) at the end of the galeries for some drinks and a bite to eat.

This is a gallery that has been cut into the cliff on a natural strata. We went with friends , one of whom was very scared of heights but in fact had no problem with the walk. Nice restaurant for a beer at the end...More

Finding the start is not the easiest! Signposts are small and brown. No entry fee. Parts of it can be steep and stepping over stones and roots could be difficult for some. The views over Champery and the Val d'Illiez are stunning.
